The Fairhill Fun Day will take part on the 12th September 2015 (exactly one week before the next Kyu grading) at the South Lanarkshire Fairhill Lifestyles Centre. The Fun day ran last year from 1pm to 4pm, we’re not sure what times it will run this year but we’ll update you on the website and twitter feed.
The club will be doing a demonstration from 1:00-1:30pm on the day with Junior and Senior students participate. We will perform some Kata, some Kumite and some Wood breaking (Tameshiwari) in for good measure 🙂 We’ll also likely include an Embu (or “Battle”) demonstration between a couple of senior grades. We’ll provide more details nearer the time.
Last years event was pretty busy with over 1,000 local people attending and good coverage in a Daily Record article.
